Q |
How long does it last? |
|
A |
The answer is we dont know yet. "Studrail" has been used since 1984 and we have not had any problems with material failure. |
|
Q |
Is it easy to put up? |
|
A |
Studrail is easy to put up when handled correctly. Remember it is a high tensile fence and is only as good as the posts. Take care using strong posts set well into the ground. Studrail is very tough and will pull over weak posts when tightening. In cold weather the plastic will be more rigid so it is advisable to keep the studrail somewhere warm making it easier to handle. |

Q |
How far apart should the posts be? |
|
A |
We recommend post spacings between 6ft and 10ft. The best results are achieved with close post spacings. We do not recommend straining more than 100 metres per run. |
|
Q |
What happens if a horse runs into it? |
|
A |
We have had several reports of horses running into studrail and so far in each case the horse has bounced off. There certainly is a reduced risk of the horse hurting itself. |
