UK manufacturer Peter Perks Ltd have taken delivery of a Robomac 310 wire forming machine. This significantly increases our wire forming capacity as this powerful machine can form 8mm and 10mm wire. These diameters are particularly useful for heavier duty wirework applications such as point of sale equipment for the retail environment, trolleys, and framed barrier mesh.
A Quick Start
We worked hard when the wire forming machine was delivered and had it up and running within 24 hours. We completed 3 jobs which we had waiting on the first day. These included 8mm frames for drying oven shelves and 8mm frames for retail display panels.
Benefits of the Robomac wire forming machine
The Robomac 310 wire former has the added benefit of having three bending heads. This means we can put 3 sets of tools on the machine giving us greater flexibilty and the ability to achieve more complex parts (3 different radius bends for example). We are now achieving reduced lead times as we have fewer change overs and increased wire forming capacity. As well as bending 8mm and 10mm this machine can also produce wire formed parts in all our other stocked sizes down to 3mm. We are looking forward to utilizing this wire forming machine to its full capacity and producing lots of frames, hooks and all the other weird and wonderful shapes our customers design.
